Life has a way of twisting and turning, sometimes for the good and sometimes
not so good.  After 10 years in the restaurant and nightclub business,  I decided
it was time for a change.    As chance would have it, my partner of two years had
two rescue dogs and I quickly became the stepfather to my now faithful compa-
nions, Baxter and Basil.  They continue to teach me daily about canine communication, loyalty, the power of a belly rub and the simple fact that dogs are far more observant, sensitive and caring than I can ever hope to be – but I keep trying.  Growing up in Brazil , I had two wonderful rescued dogs, Veludo (Velvet) a black Labrador and Micinha a mix no one could quite figure out – not to mention plenty of opportunity to interact with the neighborhood dogs.  I never thought it would become my career – until now.

I started my own dog walking business with the hopes of adding more faithful friends to my growing family.  Nothing makes me happier than seeing a dog jump and squirm with excitement when I walk through the door to embark on a daily walk.  Whether it is a puppy in need of some simple playtime, socialization and hands-on care, or a misunderstood rescue crying out for understanding – I try to understand each dog for who they are, where they have been and where they need to be.  Pets are people, too.

Once I realized that this was more than a whim, I made it official.  I am a member of Pet Sitters International (PSI) and I am insured and bonded.  I understand that it is important that you feel comfortable with who you are hiring to take care of your furry family member.  Please feel free to ask for copies of my credentials and I will be happy to provide references.

Dogs have taught me a lot about life, love and happiness.  I hope that you will give me the opportunity to be a part of your family and I promise that I will do my best to make life easier for you and your canine companions.
